About The Namkhan Help
The Namkhan Help is an initiative led by The Namkhan, dedicated to uplifting the local community and environment in Luang Prabang, Laos. Through collaboration with trusted local NGOs, we focus on impactful projects that address animal welfare, education, and emergency relief.
We’re proud to guarantee that 100% of donations go directly to our projects. All administrative costs are covered by The NamKhan, ensuring your contributions make the greatest possible difference.
How We Support Our Mission
Guest Contributions
Contributions are at our guests’ discretion and can be directed towards the Namkhan Help fund or other funds of their choice. Each contribution can be made via the “Donorbox” process or directly with our Reception team, either during or at the end of their stay with us.
Resort Contributions
The Namkhan will contribute to each fund on a monthly basis to assist with goals and assistance targets set. Our commitment to each fund will be ongoing to ensure the sustainability of each Namkhan Help project

Our Projects
Emergency Community Fund 2025
Establish a $5,000 fund to assist with medical emergencies, school fees, and elderly support for those without family resources.
Be a safety net for families and individuals in critical need.
Dog Shelter and Clinic
Build and operate a shelter for 50 stray dogs while providing vaccinations and neutering for 500+ community dogs annually.
Reduce suffering, control stray populations, and find loving homes for rescued dogs.
Creating Smiles: Educational Events for Children
Host 12 annual events for 50-100 underprivileged children, combining environmental education and creative activities.
Connect children with nature, spark joy, and inspire sustainability.
