At NamKhan Eco Resort, we believe every child deserves to experience the magic of nature and the joy of discovery. Creating Smiles: Children for Nature is our initiative to bring underprivileged children in Laos closer to the natural world through unforgettable educational events.

In collaboration with local NGOs, NamKhan will host 12 events each year on our eco-resort property, welcoming 50-100 children per event for a day of fun, learning, and connection. These events aim to spark joy, inspire dreams, and instill a deep love for nature in children who might otherwise never have such opportunities.

The Vision

Event Activities

Each event will provide a mix of educational and playful experiences, including:

Eco-Farm Exploration: Children will tour our organic farm, learning how food grows and why sustainable practices matter.
Hands-on Workshops: Activities like planting seeds, creating crafts from recycled materials, or learning about local wildlife.
Outdoor Adventures: Fun games, treasure hunts, or obstacle courses designed to promote teamwork and problem-solving.
Art & Creativity: Expressive activities like painting, storytelling, or making crafts inspired by nature.
Nutritious Shared Meal: A delicious farm-to-table meal to ensure every child has a full belly and the energy to enjoy the day.

Our Commitment

NamKhan Eco Resort will provide:

A Beautiful Venue: Our eco-friendly property will host all events, offering lush green spaces, farm access, and trained staff at no cost.
Collaboration with NGOs: Partnering with local organizations to identify and transport children in need.
Ongoing Program Support: Regularly evaluating and improving activities to ensure the best experience for participants.

Estimated Costs

For each event (serving 50-100 children):

Meals and Refreshments: $500
Educational Materials: $200 (craft supplies, activity kits, books)
Transportation: $300 (buses to bring children to the property)
Additional Support: $200 (event coordination, equipment rentals, etc.)

Total Cost Per Event: ~$1,200
Annual Cost for 12 Events: ~$14,400

What Your Contribution Will Achieve

$25: Sponsors one child for an entire day, covering meals, transportation, and activities.
$100: Gives four children the chance to participate in a day of nature-based fun and learning.

As with all NamKhan initiatives, 100% of your donation goes directly to the program. NamKhan Eco Resort covers all administrative and operational costs, ensuring every dollar makes a difference in the lives of these children.

We’ll share photos, stories, and progress reports after every event so you can see the joy and impact you’ve created. A final financial breakdown at the end of the year will ensure full transparency and accountability.
