Mr Camille Budry | General Manager

A talented and experienced professional, has recently taken on the role of General Manager at Namkhan Resort in Luang Prabang, Laos. With a strong background in the hospitality industry, Camille brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new position. His dedication to delivering exceptional service and creating unforgettable experiences for guests is truly commendable. Camille’s passion for his work shines through in his commitment to excellence in all aspects of the resort’s operations. He is thrilled to bring his extensive experience to Namkhan Resort and is eager to contribute to its continued success.

Joan Pons
Maintenance manager

Originally from Mallorca, Spain, Joan has been working in The Namkhan since 2018. Joan expands his knowledge day by day working on the farm, following the path of love whilst spreading health and truth.

He is a master in “marge”, the ancient technique of building dry stone walls, and takes care of the landscape – construction & maintenance of buildings & pathways on the property.

Ms Pann | Reservations Manager

Meet Pann, the accomplished Reservations Manager at Namkhan, bringing a wealth of expertise and a unique cultural touch from her native Myanmar. With seven years of experience in the 5-star hospitality sector, Pann leads the reservations team with precision and dedication. Her journey, marked by a commitment to excellence and a keen eye for detail, has made her an invaluable asset to Namkhan. Pann’s rich background from Myanmar adds a distinctive flair to her approach, making her a standout professional in the luxury hospitality realm.

Mr Lan | Front desk manager

Mr. Somlith THEESENGCHANH (Lan) is based in Luang Prabang. Personality favorite is sport, as football, Volleyball, Love cooking, Netflix, traveling and learning. I have been worked  more than 10 years in hotels in Luang Prabang and Thailand, currently at The Namkhan Resort as a Front Office Manager, providing excellent service to all guest and organizing activities, transportation, tours, etc.

 

Ms Ngern | Farm manager

Originally from the south of Laos, Ngern joined our team in 2020. She studied agriculture in Sothern of Laos, she moves to Luang Prabang to work on our farm and learn different techniques from all  foreing agronomists that collaborate with us. Gwern specialises in organic vegetable cultivation, she ensures that our beds, greenhouses are planted on time, so you can enjoy our organic dishes at our Farm to Table restaurant. She take care of our landscape and gardens and distribuit our organic vegetables in the organic market

Mr Touyong | Activity manager

I am coming from the hmong ethnic group in Laos. I studied general English at luang prabang university, then started to work at Backstreet Academy for a few years, like a tour guide.
I describe myself as a nature and activities enthusiast, I love to join and take care of the guest’s experiences at The Namkhan , share my knowledge about Lao culture and all kind of activities that we offer at The Namkhan.

Ms Chansamome | Housekeeping manager

Mrs. Chansamone KEOVILAYCHITH is based in Luang Prabang, personality is friendly person, love listening music . She has xperience at hotel cleaning more than 8 years , she is  is working as House keeping Manager at The Namkhan Resort & Ecofarm since 2019,  Responsibility is manage housekeeping and laundry team .

Bounlerd – Accountant Admin Manager

Of Khamu origin, Bounlerd is the right hand of our GM and has been working in the hotel industry for more than 8 years. His passion for numbers and computers led him to specialise in the accounting and administration department. Bounlerd started as a waiter, then as a receptionist, and is now our Accountant Admin Manager. With exceptional intelligence, he also listens well to guests and will be happy to welcome and assist you during your stay at The Namkhan.

Phonexai – Lao Chef

Phonexai is our Lao Chef and the main Chef at The Namkhan. He is from the Luang Prabang province and has more than 7 years of experience in the restaurant business. He started with us in 2019 and worked his way up the ladder with his creativity, tenacity and passion for cooking. Dedicated to bringing you fresh, quality food, Phonexai manages our Farm to Table Restaurant for the pleasure of your taste buds.

Joan pons | Qi Gong

Resident Qi Gong master Joan Pons offers authentic practices from 20+ years of study & personal practice. He fell in love with kung fu as a child then moved into basketball & personal training – all very yang, competitive activities. Realising this drew him to train as an osteopath & begin his studies in harmonising the yin & yang energies of his life – this reconfirmed for him the power of working with the body & drove him to study sacral therapy, fascial therapy & massage therapy. He is certified as a Qi Gong teacher with IIQG, specialised in Yang Sheng – a Taoist system of medicine aimed at cultivating health. He has trained with Shaolin monks as well as Da Mo Mitchell studying physical, energetic & spiritual branches of the practice.

Qi gong is an ancient Chinese practice including but not limited to graceful movements in tandem with gentle measured breathing. The goal of Qi gong is to cultivate & balance the flow of Qi (life force) within our bodies & with nature itself. This promotes health & healing of the muscles, joints, energy & mental wellbeing.

Estella Llabres – Yoga Instructor

Estella dedicated her entire life to studying, learning and teaching movement. Estella is a Pilates instructor, Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis trainer. Estella completed the 500th Yoga Advanced Training and went deeper into the studies of Nidra Yoga. She travelled to Asia frequently to learn massage techniques and now specialises in Thai massage, postural yoga and more. Estella combines all her knowledge and brings her expertise to provide a fulfilling wellness experience.

Alexandra Lochmatter – International Sales and Marketing

Alexandra brings two decades of experience in hospitality and holistic wellbeing to The Namkhan. With a focus on retreats and group travel, she leverages her skills in fostering international connections and delivering exceptional experiences. Alexandra also speaks multiple languages, which further enhances her ability to connect and communicate with a diverse range of individuals.

Piyanut (Oil) Chuaymuang – Sales Manager

Oil has over a decade of experience in hospitality, sports, and health and wellness tourism. Oil excels in managing travel agents and in expanding the network of agents, establishing partnerships with those having direct connections in markets such as Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and China. Her expertise and experience in assisting with group bookings and retreat organising make her an invaluable resource to The Namkhan.
