If you’re looking for a peaceful spot by the river with beautiful surroundings and warm hospitality, I can’t recommend Namkham Eco Resort enough! I fell in love with the yoga shala right by the river—such a perfect spot to practice and soak in the views. The pool is gorgeous, and I spent so much time just relaxing there. The restaurant is awesome too; they grow everything on their organic farm, so all the food is super fresh and full of flavor. I loved their selection of teas, like moringa and lemongrass, and the breakfast buffet was such a treat—I couldn’t get enough of it, and their curry was delicious!My room was so comfy, with lots of natural details that made it feel really cozy, and I slept like a baby every night. The people there were the best part—everyone, from the gardener to the reception and restaurant staff, was so warm and friendly, always with a smile. I also loved that they offer a free shuttle to town, which made exploring super easy. It’s such a special place—I really didn’t want to leave!

During our stay, we were in a perfect resort nestled in nature. It's genuinely entirely ecological, with almost all products used being natural. The service is quite good, and all the staff were very helpful. Taking walks within the resort became a daily routine for us. We stayed in a tent, and it was more comfortable than most hotel rooms. The buffet breakfast always offered fresh and diverse items. In three days, we rejuvenated both our spirits and bodies.

I decided to take a detour to Luang Prabang while visiting Laos and booked the river front villa at the last minute. We had an amazing experience and found this unique resort to provide unexpected tranquility within the beautiful natural surroundings. The location is slightly outside the town center but this was okay for us as it was easy to travel to town utilizing several options provided by the resort- including van, jeep, tuk-tuk, and e-scooter rental. If you feel motivated, you can also use the provided mountain bikes to get around. All of these can be conveniently ordered through the app along with other amenities. The customer service was great, everyone was very responsive and it was easy to communicate. Again, the app made it convenient as you can chat with the staff as needed. I look forward to returning again.
