The Namkhan began as a permaculture project, a working farm practicing regenerative agriculture on the riverbank before it became a hotel. That sequence matters. Most hotel gardens are decorative. Here, the farm is operational: it supplies the kitchen daily with herbs, vegetables, and edible flowers harvested that morning. The gardens frame the villas and glamping tents because they were there first.
When the property evolved into a boutique retreat, the farm stayed. It now sits alongside the rooms, the spa, and the restaurant as a core part of how guests experience the property.
