To still the fluctuations of the mind you can practice yoga, Luang Prabang is the perfect setting. Our professional resident and guest yoga instructors offer hour-long Hatha Vinyasa classes, inviting you home to your body, breath & the present moment. Available in group sessions at our beautiful shala overlooking the Namkhan river in Luang Prabang, Lao or privately in the comfort of your own suite at the resort.
Sessions
Whether you’re new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, our group & private classes are suitable for all. Group classes are bookable every day.
Morning – 8am
Afternoon – 4pm
Sessions are between 60 & 90 minutes. Instruction is in English, guided by our fully qualified teacher. Regular classes are in Hatha Vinyasa Yoga with a mix of different styles and breathwork studied by our resident teacher.
Our yoga sessions are grounding, meditative, challenging, playful and accessible to all levels.
What to Expect
Each session begins with Pranayama breathwork, an ancient technique for steadying the nervous system and soothing the mind while preparing the body to move.
Movement sequences will move and stretch your spine in all directions while traditional Asana postures are integrated with mobility drills to work on strength and flexibility. You’ll be constantly practicing proper breathing technique to get the most out of your session.
Our professional instructor adapts the difficulty and pace according to each student’s level, so don’t be intimidated if it’s your first time doing Yoga in Luang Prabang!

Our yoga pavilion is perfectly situated on the Namkhan Resort to allow you to experience peace and tranquility as you stretch your body and your mind practicing Yoga in Luang Prabang, Laos.

About the Space: Our Yoga Pavilion
The Namkhan is set in natural tropical gardens and is surrounded by the Nam Khan River, which provides the perfect setting for yoga and beautiful retreats in Laos due to its remote appearance.
The pavilion can stand strong in all four seasons allowing you to elevate your mind on any visit. This durable structure was brought together by our design team and integrates elements of the environment to bring balance and peace.
Our outdoor yoga pavilion overlooking the Nam Khan River allows for a true connection with nature & with yourself. We offer daily yoga and Qi Gong classes, taught in English by qualified, devoted teachers all throughout the year.
The Namkhan yoga pavilion is the only space of it’s kind in Luang Prabang, hosting a variety of yoga & wellness retreats through out the year.
