Sustainability practices
Sourcing much of its energy from an abundance of solar panels The Namkhan works towards energy conservation. Waste from the restaurant feeds the animals & is turned to compost for the farm inciting a green cycle that serves the resort & it’s guests year round. The commitment to sustainability extends to its water management practices as ground water is recycled & filtered through out the property. Beyond this they have eliminated single use plastics, each guest is provided with a refillable glass water bottle & a bamboo toothbrush to promote environmental consciousness.

Green building design
All of our accommodations, built by our team of builders have been designed and furnished by our carpentry team. We have chosen to use local teak wood, bamboo, and recyclable grass for roofing, promoting sustainability from the inside out.
Carbon footprint reduction
In an effort to minimise its carbon footprint The Namkhan utilises solar energy where ever possible. Mountain bikes are offered to guests free of charge, alternatively they have the option to rent electronic scooters promoting eco friendly transportation options & reducing the reliance on fossil fuels.
