Our eco-farm and resort are located in the charming village of Don Keo, known for its rich tradition of bamboo weaving. Our resident artisan, Mae (mama) Souk, was born and raised here and has been weaving baskets since the age of 10, carrying forward this time-honored craft.
In our bamboo weaving workshop, visitors have the opportunity to create their own basket from scratch, starting with bamboo preparation and trimming, all the way to the final product. Participants also have the option to make a tea filter, our most popular item, which pairs beautifully with our homegrown organic tea.
Beyond the hands-on experience, we offer an introduction to the history of bamboo weaving and its significance in the daily lives of Don Keo’s residents. After the workshop, guests are invited to explore our boutique, where a variety of handmade bamboo products are available for purchase, from baskets to kitchen utensils, all crafted sustainably.
This unique experience allows visitors to connect with local life, learn about traditional weaving techniques, and take home something truly special—whether crafted by their own hands or by skilled local artisans. We invite our guests to enjoy the tranquility of Don Keo and to connect with the cultural roots of this beautiful region.
